The Housekeeper will oversee all household activities. All female servants will report to the Housekeeper.

In the absence of the Mistress of the family, the Housekeeper is to represent her.
She will supervise any issues arising in regards to the cleaning of bedrooms, common rooms and laundry.
She will be responsible for supervising the purchase of provisions at the market.
She will supervise the setting of the table, paying careful attention to the dishes that are served together.
